My Life

My name is Ann and I'm a junior at the University of South Carolina (USC).
Born in Richmond, VA, I'm pretty far from home but I've loved my time at USC.

One of my favorite parts of student life at USC is going to the football games(2009 football schedule). There's nothing like standing in the student section of Williams-Bryce Stadium and hearing thousands of fellow Gamecocks scream:
"USC-GOOOO COCKS"
This weekend I actually went to the away game at the University of Tennessee. I always have so much fun visiting other schools, even though it was a little bit painful to lose the game by so much.
I'm majoring in public relations with a minor in psychology. I have no idea yet what I want to do with my degree, but I've liked all of my PR classes so far. I'm using this blog to practice my writting and internet skills. Even though I don't know what I want to do for my career I doknow I want to live somewhere in the South when I grow up because I can not stand cold weather. I'm trying to enjoy my last four semesters in college and my time at USC. I'm a true believer that everything happens for a reason, as Marilyn Monroe said,
""I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go. Things go wrong so that you can appreciate them when they're right. And sometimes good things fall apart, so better things can happen."
